For Trios Health, two recent events brought smiles, not tears. As has become an annual tradition, Trios Health’s graduating residents took their ceremonial “walk out” only days before their graduation in late June. Having completed their family medicine and internal medicine programs, Drs. Borgmann, Chong, Cordero, Fix-Lanes, and Reyes-Rufo, skipped, jigged, twirled, and leapt on the green carpet outside of Trios Southridge Hospital to the cheers of medical staff and employees. In her final week, Christine Kha, DO, who departed before the graduation festivities to begin a two- year fellowship in endocrinology at NYCOMEC/Coney Island Hospital in New York, reflected on her experience. “Thank you for the wonderful support. This community was my home for the past three years. I will miss you all!”
