It began with the hiring of Quorum Health Resources to help Trios Health improve operations and finances. Then on April 1, we announced a workforce reduction based on a produc- tivity model we implemented to help streamline operations. On June 30, we implement- ed another of Quorum’s recommendations in filing for Chapter 9 debt restructur- ing through the bankruptcy court. In the midst of that, we discovered a large-scale patient records breach by a former employee. Hope despite hardship Despite these difficult public struggles in 2017, there was also much to celebrate.
